The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 is conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI) to assess the legal knowledge and professional skills of law graduates. The AIBE 20 Exam Analysis 2025 provides a comprehensive overview of the examination, including the overall difficulty level, ideal number of good attempts, section-wise weightage, and the expected cut-off.

The AIBE 20 exam was moderate to difficult in difficulty level. Questions based on assertions and reasoning were asked multiple times; questions from the Constitution of India, BNS, IPC, BNSS, BSA, CRPC, CPC were asked. There were also 5-6 questions from family law, followed by taxation, the Companies Act, and the Contract Act.

The AIBE exam pattern slightly varies every year, and it is possible that in the next AIBE exam, certain changes could be seen as compared to the AIBE 20 Question Paper 2025. However, as per the AIBE 20 exam pattern, the general distribution of the AIBE 20 question paper is as follows.

AIBE 20 maintained a balanced difficulty, similar to recent cycles (AIBE 18 & 19).
The exam required:
While the majority of questions were straightforward bare-act-based, some required accuracy in section numbers, timelines, punishments, and exceptions, making the exam knowledge-intensive.
