The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has officially released the CLAT 2026 final answer key. Candidates can download the final answer key from the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, and check the correct answers for all sets of the exam. The CLAT final answer key includes any modifications made during the objection window.
The CLAT 2026 exam was conducted on December 7, 2025. The provisional answer key was made available on December 10, 2025. Candidates were allowed to submit objections until December 12, 2025. After reviewing all objections, the final answer key will be released on December 17, 2025. This CLAT final answer key is used to calculate the final scores for both UG and PG candidates.

Use the following marking scheme to calculate the CLAT score:
For every correct answer, add 1 mark.
For every wrong answer, deduct 0.25 marks.
Unattempted questions receive 0 marks.

The Consortium of National Law Universities modified the final answer key for the CLAT 2026 Post-Graduate exam for three questions based on objections received. There were no further withdrawn questions for the PG exam.

The counselling process for CLAT 2026 will begin after the results are declared. Counselling is conducted online and involves seat allotment based on the candidates’ rank and preferences. Candidates must participate in all rounds to secure admission to their chosen NLU.

Log in using the CLAT credentials.
Navigate to the counselling registration section.
Fill in the required details and choose the preferred NLUs and courses.
Pay the counselling registration fee online.
Submit the choices and wait for seat allotment results.
If allotted a seat, confirm admission by paying the required fee within the deadline.
