    The Common Law Admission Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted once every year. The CLAT exam is conducted for admission to 24 participating National Law Universities and more than 60 private law schools. The NLUs are the most prestigious law institutions in the country. NLSIU Bengaluru is the top-ranked law school in India according to NIRF law rankings 2026. A rank of 10000-12000 cannot be termed as a good rank in CLAT 2026, but it can get candidates admission in some decent NLUs. CLAT 2026 is being conducted on December 7, 2025.
