    The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an entrance exam held annually at the national level. It is conducted to get admissions to 24 participating NLUs and more than 60+ private law schools. Every year, around 50,000 students appear for the law entrance exam. There are roughly around 4,000 seats available for admission through the CLAT exam. It is a competitive exam and it is important to score a good rank in the CLAT exam. CLAT 2026 is conducted on December 7, 2025.
