The Consortium of NLUs has declared the CLAT 2025 revised result on May 17, 2025. Candidates with CLAT rank 5000 to 10000 can aim for tier 2 and 3 NLUs. However, with CLAT rank 5000 to 10000 ST candidates and those with domicile reservation can also get into premier NLUs. Already registered candidates are allowed to edit their NLU preference list while newly invited candidates can submit fresh NLU preferences as per the revised CLAT 2025 counselling instructions. The CLAT 2025 revised result is likely to cause a significant shift in candidate’s rank in the CLAT 2025 revised merit list. Candidates must therefore submit their NLU preferences in a way which maximises their chances of admission. The first CLAT 2025 merit list will be published on May 26, 2025.

Candidates from the ST categories can secure admission into all NLUs with a CLAT revised rank of 5000 to 10000 including NLS Banglore, NALSAR and NUJS Kolkata. The cut-off trends show that the ST closing rank for NLSIU is expected to be around 7000 with the cut-offs progressively lower for other NLUs down the ranking order.
