Candidates must qualify for the AIBE 21 examination to obtain the CoP. The minimum qualifying marks vary based on the candidate's category. General and OBC candidates must score at least 42 marks out of 100 (45%) to pass the exam. Candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories must secure 37 marks out of 100 (40%).

Note: The qualifying percentage for AIBE 21 remains fixed. However, the required passing marks may be adjusted if the final answer key changes the total number of valid questions in the examination.
After the AIBE 21 scorecard is released, candidates must verify all the details, including their personal information and qualifying status. Those who pass the AIBE 21 exam must register themselves with their respective State Bar Council after receiving the CoP. They might be asked to submit documents for verification. The CoP is mandatory for practicing law in India. Candidates should keep a copy of their scorecard for future reference, while those who do not qualify can appear for the next AIBE examination, as there is no limit on the number of attempts.

No. If you are currently in the 5th semester of a 3-year LL.B., you generally cannot register for AIBE yet.
Under the current BCI rules, a 3-year LL.B. student must be in the final semester (6th semester) and have no backlogs from previous semesters to register for AIBE.
