Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) prescribes the AP LAWCET exam pattern 2025 on its official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The AP LAWCET 2025 exam pattern outlines the exam structure including the exam mode, time, sections, question type, and marking scheme. The exam pattern of AP LAWCET 2025 for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB is similar with difference only in the difficulty level. Through the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test candidates will be admitted into 5-yearLLB and 3-year LLB courses of participating law colleges of Andhra Pradesh. AP LAWCET 2025 will be conducted tentatively in the second week of June 2025, in online mode at designated test centres.

The AP LAWCET paper pattern 2025 consists of three sections which are GK and mental ability, current affairs, and aptitude for the study of law. There will be 120 multiple-choice questions spread across the three sections. Each question will be followed by four options. The AP LAWCET total marks is 120. The three sections in the AP LAWCET 2025 syllabus have different weights. Candidates must note that the AP LAWCET question paper pattern for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB is the same. The difference only exists in the difficulty level of both exams. The expected standard for the AP LAWCET 5-year LLB exam is of class 12 while AP LAWCET 3-year LLB is of the standard of graduation level. The syllabus of AP LAWCET 2025 will consist of topics on the three sections contained in the LAWCET paper pattern. The GK and the current affairs section have 25% weight. The AP LAWCET qualifying marks is 35%. It means candidates must score a minimum of 42 marks out of a total 120 marks in order to qualify for ranking and be eligible to register for AP LAWCET 2025 counselling process. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for candidates from SC and ST category.
APSCHE will conduct the AP PGLCET 2025 for admission into LLM programmes of participating colleges in Andhra Pradesh. In the AP PGLCET question paper pattern, there will be questions from different areas of law. AP PGLCET question paper will be in English only. In the AP PGLCET exam pattern 2025, there will be 120 questions on different laws divided into two parts A and B. Part A will have 40 questions while Part B will have 80 questions. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

As per AP PGLCET 2025 pattern, the qualifying percentage of marks is 25%. It means candidates must score a minimum of 30 marks out of a total 120 marks to be considered for ranking. However, this condition is only applicable for general and OBC categories. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category.

The exam pattern of AP LAWCET 2025 consists of 120 questions divided into three sections namely General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Study of Law.
The pass mark for AP LAWCET 2025 is 42 marks out of 120 i.e. 35%.
Although all subjects included in AP LAWCET syllabus are important. However, the legal aptitude section carries more weightage than other sections. 50% of questions will be asked from legal aptitude.
The duration of the AP LAWCET exam is 90 minutes.
As per the notification released, the cut off of AP LAWCET 2024 entrance exam set for the general category is 35% (42 out of 120). However, there are no criteria regarding minimum qualifying marks if you are from SC and ST categories. As per the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2024 eligibility criteria for the 5-year LLB programme, candidates must have passed their Class 12 exam in a (10+2) pattern with a minimum of 45% marks. Any student who has completed their graduation (10+2+3) from a recognized College/University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General Category, 43% marks in aggregate for OBC Category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category can apply for LLB programme

Candidates will be able to download AP LAWCET result 2022 in online mode at the official website of APSCHE - sche.ap.gov.in.
