On April 30, the Supreme Court stayed the Delhi High Court CLAT UG judgement passed on April 23. The SC verdict was passed by a division bench comprising of Justice BR Gavai and Justice AG Masih. The SC passed the stay order while hearing a petition filed by a candidate Siddhi Sandeep Ladda who attempted Set A in CLAT 2025. The Consortium of NLUs has notified that the next CLAT 2025 SC hearing is scheduled for May 5, 2025. The Delhi HC in its judgement passed for petitions relating to CLAT UG exams had directed the Consortium of National Law Universities to publish the revised CLAT 2025 results within 4 weeks. The hearing for cases in CLAT PG is scheduled on May 2, 2025. Read on to get all details about the new SC order.

The new case filed by candidate Siddhi Ladda is a Special Leave Petition (SLP) that claims that the HC judgement puts candidates who attempted Set A at a disadvantage as against candidates who attempted Set B,C and D. The said candidate has secured AIR 22 as per the old CLAT 2025 result that was declared on December 7.
The Delhi HC had directed the Consortium to revise the answers to 4 questions and publish the revised CLAT 2025 results within 4 weeks of the order. The details of the 4 questions are given below.
