The Bar Council of India will conduct the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 on November 30, 2025. The AIBE 20 exam 2025 will be conducted in a single shift from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Students must follow the prescribed AIBE exam day guidelines and instructions as per the BCI. The first thing that candidates should prioritise is that they carry the hard copies of their AIBE 2025 admit card to the exam centre. This is because the officials would not allow the candidates to enter the examination hall without the hall tickets. The exam will be conducted in offline mode to assess the eligibility and knowledge of law graduates and final year students to practise law in India.
Candidates will be permitted entry from 11:30 AM. Since AIBE 20 is no longer an open-book exam. Candidates are not allowed to carry books and other textual material inside the exam hall. The following is the list of things that students can carry to their respective exam centres.
1. Admit card of AIBE 2025: Candidates should carry a printout of the AIBE 20 admit card
2. Valid ID Card: Candidates are required to carry ID proofs such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, and Driving License
3. Bare Acts or Bare Acts with the least comments: Candidates can Bare Acts with the least comments will be checked by the invigilators.
4. AIBE Registration Documents: To meet any uncertainty in candidate verification.
5. A wrist watch: A simple analogue watch is allowed at the exam centre.
6. Other Essentials: A transparent water bottle, handkerchiefs/tissues and personal medication.
Candidates will have to avoid the following items during the AIBE exam which includes books on AIBE exam preparation, guides and Bare Acts with detailed comments, self-made or readymade notes, mobile phones, smart watch and calculators and any other electronic devices.
Students with more than a 40% disability will get an extra 20 minutes for each hour to complete the AIBE exam. Additionally, they can also use a scribe in the exam as per the rules specified bythe government.
