The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a certification examination conducted by the Bar Council of India for law graduates seeking the Certificate of Practice (CoP). Advocates enrolled with their respective State Bar Councils are eligible to appear for the examination. Candidates who qualify for the AIBE are awarded the Certificate of Practice, which is mandatory for practising law before courts and tribunals in India. The All India Bar Examination is generally conducted twice a year and serves as the final eligibility test for advocates entering the legal profession.
AIBE 21 (XXI) was conducted on June 7, 2026, in offline mode across more than 60 cities. The AIBE exam pattern comprises 100 multiple-choice questions with no negative marking. Hello Dear Student,
Forgetting to darken the OMR bubbles is a common mistake. Because you wrote your roll number and details manually, your OMR sheet will likely undergo
manual evaluation
by the authorities. While machine scanners require darkened bubbles, human evaluators can still identify your sheet and process it.
