LAT 2015 Eligibility Criteria provides you an overview of minimum qualification needed for admissions to the three-year law programmes in Allahabad University. Candidates appearing for LAT 2015 need to go through LAT2015 Eligibility Criteria before filing in LAT 2015 Application Form.

LAT 2015 Application Form is available from April 2, 2015.

LAT 2015 is scheduled to be held on May 29, 2015.

Academic Qualification for LAT 2015 – Candidates applying for the three-year law programmes need to possess the following as mentioned in Eligibility Criteria of LAT 2015 –

  • Qualified or Qualifying Degree Course Examination from any discipline in 10+2+3 format system

  • Secured at least 45% of the total marks in aggregate of all the subjects in the qualifying degree examination

  • Those belonging to SC/ST categories, need to secure at least 40% marks in aggregate of the qualifying subjects

  • Those candidates who are appearing for Degree Course Examination in the current academic session are also considered eligible for applying subjected to the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the Central University.

Age Requirement forLAT 2015 – As per the order of Bar Council of India (BCI), there is no such age requirement for admissions to three year LLB programmes.

 

AllahabadUniversity conducts LAT 2015 for admissions to three-year undergraduate law programmes including LLB.

what are the preparation tips for SLAT ( symbiosis law admission test) and which books do you suggest for this particular exam? Also, is there any crash course available in mumbai for SLAT preparations?

Symbiosis has a very good reputation in the country and many students wants to take admission in it by SLAT. Let's look at the syllabus first:

General Knowledge: 30

Logical Reasoning: 30

Analytical Reasoning: 30

Legal Reasoning: 30

Reading Comprehension: 30

Total : 150

The exam patter is: Paper type is MCQ. There are 150 questions one marks each, one minute for each question and no negative marking.

1. For the Written Ability Test (WAT) it is bit easy as the students will be given list of topics and they simply have to write essay on it.

2. Start preparing for the PI after the exam.

3. SLAT doesn't has that level of time bound so read the questions properly and answer (you can cover the course in less time).

4. For GK, prepare the current affairs and International news and you will be good to go.

LAT Examination is pen and paper based test. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
Yes, the test language is Hindi as well. You can opt for English or Hindi as your test Language.
It's a multiple choice questions paper of 150 questions.
