PU LLB 2018 – Panjab University conducted PU LLB 2018 on June 18, 2018. Earlier it was scheduled to be conducted on June 17 but then the date was postponed for one day by the university. Candidates planning to pursue three-year law programme were advised to apply for the law entrance examination as the applications were available on April 10, 2018. Panjab University conducted the law entrance exam PU LLB 2018 in the offline mode wherein the candidates were required to attempt the university level examination with pen and paper. Panjab University will offer 597 seats for the admissions into the undergraduate law programme. The university provided three medium to the candidates to attempt the examination namely, English, Hindi and Punjabi. Facts about PU LLB programme
The Department of Laws at Panjab University was originally established in Lahore in 1889, making it one of the oldest law departments in the country. After Independence, the Department of Laws was shifted to Shimla in 1948 and Jalandhar in 1950 before finally establishing itself at the Panjab University Campus in Chandigarh in 1959. Since then, it has been offering the LLB course for graduate students interested in pursuing law.
From the mid-2000s onwards, three more legal study centres of Panjab University offer the LLB course at different parts of Punjab. These are the P.U. Regional Centre at Muktsar, the P.U. Regional Centre at Ludhiana (Punjab) and UILS, Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Bajwara, Hoshiarpur.

Panjab University has released the answer key of PU LLB 2018 on June 20, 2018. PU LLB 2018 Answer Key helps the candidates in cross-checking the answers marked by them in the law examination.
Candidates have been made available with the Result of PU LLB 2018 on June 29, 2018. Panjab University has released PU LLB 2018 Result in online mode, which the candidates can access through their registered accounts.
Panjab University will release the merit list of PU LLB 2018 by the third week of July 2018. Candidates will get to know the merit rank after the declaration of the result by the university.
Panjab University will conduct counselling of PU LLB 2018 in the month of August 2018. Candidates who meet the cut off according to the merit list will be shortlisted for the counselling procedure and after that the admission procedure.
Panjab University will offer admission to the three-year law programme into four of its participating institutes namely, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and regional centres in Muktsar, Ludhiana and Hoshiarpur.
Panjab University has issued the admit card of PU LLB 2018 on June 7, 2018. The university issued PU LLB 2018 Admit Card in online mode. Candidates could get access to the same through their registered accounts with valid id and password. It should be noted that the candidates who successfully filled the application form of PU LLB 2018 were only issued with the PU LLB Admit Card 2018.
The candidates appearing in PU LLB 2018 were advised to take a look at the Exam pattern of PU LLB 2018 which mentioned the type of questions, pattern, marks and the topics that included in the law examination conducted on June 18 at 3pm - 4:30pm.
