A candidates’ rank in the CLAT 2025 merit list will significantly shift following the SC judgement. In the CLAT UG verdict delivered by the apex court, three questions have been withdrawn and the answer for one question has been changed in the CLAT 2025 final answer key. Earlier, Delhi HC has also ordered the revision of answers to one question. The Consortium of NLUs will publish the CLAT 2025 revised result as per the court judgements.

The Consortium of NLUs conducted CLAT 2025 on December 1, 2025. Through the CLAT 2025 counselling process, candidates will be admitted into 5-year LLB programmes of participating NLUs.
The CLAT marks vs rank comparison given in the table below provides the expected corresponding marks for ranks between 10000 to 15000.

The court verdicts passed by the SC and the Delhi HC will have a significant impact on the CLAT 2025 revised result. A candidate’s score can go up by a maximum of 3.25 score and it can go down by a maximum of 4.25 marks. The details of each of the five questions and their impact are given below. Answers have been changed for a total of 5 questions from the earlier CLAT result which was declared on December 7.
