For Maths, all elementary chapters such as Time and Distance, Time & Work, Profit & Loss etc., are important. For GK, both current affairs as well as static GK deserve attention. For Logical Reasoning, one should focus on critical reasoning and for Legal Aptitude; the focus should be on legal reasoning problems.” Furthermore, she says, “It’s smart to prepare for CLAT in a systematic manner. CLAT aspirants need to have a clear concept of all the sections, know the question pattern and focus on necessary components of the law entrance exam.”
Rajendra Khadav, Director of CrackCLAT Tutorials says, “I would suggest CLAT aspirants go for a routine study of 8-9 hours daily. However, the study hours may differ for different candidates..Relaxing in between the study hours is essential as it helps your brain to memorize and revise the last round of study.”
As candidates may be aware that their preparation for CLAT 2019 and for class 12th boards examinations will overlap, this could turn out to be a tough situation handle for candidates. Experts recommend that a well-drawn out strategy comes to a candidate’s rescue in such situations. Prof. Hema Raman, Director, Sri Ram Law Academy, opines, “Aspirants appearing for the first time will have only one month’s time after their boards so they need to strategize their preparation at the earliest.”
To attain success in CLAT 2019, it is important for candidates to devise a time-table and organize the entire syllabus and mock test sessions within that time-table. Candidates should remember that they should be particular about fulfilling daily agendas to cover the monthly time-tables.
After solving mock tests while preparing for CLAT 2019, candidates should analyze their performance and attempting trends so that they can devise time management and exam day strategies which they can apply on the day of the exam.
One of the main aims of candidates while solving mock tests should be to increase their speed while maintaining accuracy intact. The candidates should strategize their attempt plan in accordance with the subjects. The CLAT aspirants should attempt the questions section-wise depending upon their question-type. However, the strategy of each test taker will vary.”
Candidates should reserve the last week for solving mock tests to prepare for CLAT 2020. Rather than trying out new things, candidates should only focus on bettering their existing preparation by solving mock tests.
Nevertheless, along with the mock tests, candidates should keep a tab on the current affairs during the last week as well.

If the candidate can adjust a mock test or two on the last day so that their grip on the subject remains intact is a good idea. A quick look into the current affairs and general knowledge will suffice for the last day.
