AIBE 22 Notification 2026 (OUT): Registration (Started), Exam Date (Nov 29)

AIBE 22 Eligibility Criteria
Category | Eligibility Criteria |
Final-Year Law Students | Currently in the final semester of a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. from a BCI-recognised University/BCI-approved affiliated College. No backlogs in previous semesters. |
Law Graduates (No Degree Yet) | Completed 3-year or 5-year LL.B. from a BCI-recognised institution but awaiting degree conferral. |
Law Graduates (Degree Obtained) | Obtained LL.B. degree from a BCI-recognised institution, but not enrolled with any State Bar Council, or enrolled but surrendered enrolment certificate. |
Who is not eligible? | Studying or graduating from a university/college not recognised/approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). |
AIBE 22 Registration Started
The Bar Council of India opened the AIBE 22 registration window on August 19, 2026. The AIBE 22 registration window will remain open till October 27, 2026. Candidates can fill the AIBE application form from the official website - allindiabarexamination.com. Candidates will be required to fill in all the mentioned personal, academic, and communication details. Also, candidates must upload the required documents, like a photograph and a signature, in the prescribed format. The AIBE 22 application process will be complete after the payment of the application fee. AIBE 22 registration fee is Rs. 3,500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and Rs. 2,500 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
AIBE 22 Registration Last Date
BCI will close the AIBE 22 registration on October 27, 2026. Candidates are required to fill out the application form, upload required documents and pay online application fee to complete the registration process.Based on previous years' trends, the last date to fill out the AIBE 22 application form may be extended. There is no official update from BCI on the official website. Aspirants are advised to register before the last date to avoid missing the exam. The authorities will allow any corrections in the applications till October 30, 2026.

No. If you are currently in the 5th semester of a 3-year LL.B., you generally cannot register for AIBE yet.
Under the current BCI rules, a 3-year LL.B. student must be in the final semester (6th semester) and have no backlogs from previous semesters to register for AIBE.
