Candidates need to be a bit more smart in prioritising the topics that they need to study, allotting time for each subject, choosing the right approach. So, here, we present top five tips that will be useful in cracking AILET 2020 in the first attempt.
Cover AILET Syllabus at least two months before the exam
Completing the syllabus well within time is very important. Doing this gives you enough time to revise and practice the sample papers. Though the syllabus of AILET is not well defined, and only major topics are given, still the candidates need to refer to the best books for AILET 2020 to read whatever is suggested for the exam. Make short notes to ensure that you have well prepared material for revision at a short period of time.
Make Current affairs and legal awareness as the strong points
Current affairs and Legal awareness combinedly carry a total of 70 marks in the exam, thus are very important sections that can help in ensuring a higher rank. Read the current affairs from daily newspapers such as The Hindu, The Indian Express or The Business Standards. Complement the newspaper reading with the monthly current affairs books such as GK Today, Pratiyogita Darpan and others.
When it comes to taking up the legal awareness, the AILET preparation tips should go on two fronts - One, handling the current legal issues by keeping an eye on the current affairs. Second, referring to the books of legal awareness and constitution. Make notes and revise regularly to get a hold of these subjects.
Short notes plus flow charts and diagrams
Candidates must understand that the flow chart and diagrams are extremely beneficial when it comes to memorizing the concepts and facts. The flow charts and diagrams work as mind maps, and thus are counted among the smart ways of learning. If you are preparing for AILET 2020, the short notes along with the flow charts and diagram may boost your preparation manyfold.
Solve the sample papers of the AILET 2020
Almost all toppers are unanimous on this, that AILET sample papers are the best way through which one can understand the exam level, type of questions and pattern. Not only this, solving the sample papers is one of the easiest and most effective ways to test one's knowledge. So, to score a really high rank in the exam, the candidates must solve as many sample papers as they can and try to point out their weaknesses and work on them.
Be smart in time management and prioritizing the topics
From the AILET exam pattern, one can easily understand that the maths section only carries a weightage of 10 marks, while other topics carry an equal weightage of 35 marks. So, the candidates must be smart enough to take up the important topics on priority. The topics such as current affairs and legal knowledge must be given some additional time. When it comes to English language, one can also prepare it by reading English newspaper while referring to the basic grammar book.
