The first day of the MH CET 3-year LLB 2026 concluded on April 1, 2026. The exam was conducted in two shifts: Shift 1 (11:00 AM to 01:00 PM) and Shift 2 (3:30 PM to 5:30 PM). A major change this year is the revised exam pattern. The total number of questions is now 120 instead of 150. Shift 1 showed that the paper is Easy to Moderate, with the English section being particularly challenging, while Logical Reasoning felt slightly lengthy. The second shift of the MAH CET Law 2026 day 1 concluded with an overall Easy to Moderate difficulty. Similar to the morning slot, the GK and English sections were highly scoring and simple. However, the Legal Aptitude section presented a specific challenge. While basic principles were easy, the questions on Landmark Judgments were notably tough.
Both shifts today showed that the paper was Easy to Moderate. For students appearing on day 2, the MH CET LLB day 1 trends show a strong focus on Maharashtra-specific GK (such as Tiger Reserves and Revenue Divisions), direct grammar-based English, and a heavier-than-usual emphasis on assertion-based Logical Reasoning. Understanding these day 1 patterns is the best way for candidates to feel ready and score high for top-tier law colleges.

Candidates must ensure they do not forget these essential points before reaching the examination centre:
Bring the printed MH CET Law 2026 hall ticket is essential and a valid original photo ID like an Aadhar card, PAN card, or passport. Digital copies or soft copies on mobile phones are not allowed.
Candidates must reach the venue at least 90 minutes early. The State CET Cell closes gates 30 minutes before the paper starts, and late entry is not permitted.
Candidates are advised to spend only 30 seconds per General Knowledge question. Allocating 45-50 seconds for English and Legal Aptitude helps save time for complex logical reasoning puzzles.
Candidates must carry a simple blue or black ballpoint pen for rough work. Personal items like smartwatches, jewellery, and calculators must be left at home to pass security frisking.
Candidates must attempt every question since there is no negative marking. Using the process of elimination for difficult questions is the best way to improve the merit rank.
Candidates must quickly scan Legal Maxims and core Articles of the Indian Constitution, focusing specifically on Fundamental Rights and Duties.
