What happened in the last CLAT 2025 SC hearing on Jan 15?

In the last hearing on January 15, the Supreme Court indicated that it was not interested in taking up the CLAT 2025 result petition. The court suggested that all the CLAT 2025 court cases pending at different High Courts should be transferred to a single HC to expedite the matter. The SC also postponed the hearing to February 3.

What Will the Supreme Court Decide on February 3?

In the hearing scheduled on February 3, 2025, the SC is expected to decide on the HC to which all the CLAT 2025 cases will be transferred. Among the possible options are the Punjab & Haryana HC, Karnataka HC, Bombay HC, and Delhi HC. However, the Panjab & Haryana HC appears to be the front runner to take up the cases, as the SC indicated in its last hearing

A final resolution for the CLAT 2025 controversies does not appear in sight, as candidates have to wait longer. Candidates can also look forward to the Delhi HC hearing scheduled on January 30 after the HC adjourned the case in its hearing conducted on January 7.
