What is CLAT Consortium?
The consortium of National Law Universities is a permanent group of 22 national law universities. The consortium of NLUs was created in August 2017 and since its inception, it has evolved into a well organised and transparent organisation. The CLAT consortium also takes steps to reform the examination scheme and NLU admission process from time to time. For example, in 2020, the consortium announced that CLAT will be a test of reading and critical thinking skills. It also reduced the number of questions from 200 to 150 in CLAT UG. The questions in CLAT PG were also reduced from 150 to 120.

CLAT Eligibility - The official website mentions the eligibility criteria for both CLAT UG and CLAT PG. Your 10th marks is not taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination, it is your marks in class 12th which is taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination. For exams like neet and clat only your 12th marks matters a lot . Further your 10th marks only required to get your favourite Stream and for competitive exam it is required only to confirm your dob and address and all .

CLAT is one of the difficult competitive exams.However if you can prepare properly then you can crack the exams.First get a clear idea of the syllabus of the CLAT examination and also check the last year's paper.Familiarity with exam patterns and syllabus will aso make it easier to pay additional attention to topics which carry more weightage.Do regular revision of the syllabus properly and also sit for the mock tests for CLAT.

*A major part of your Clat question paper are from the gk and current affairs section , so focus more on them, read news papers like The Hindu, Financial Express, and The Economist on daily basis to keep you updated
*Make a routine or a time table and religiously follow it , keep short breaks of 20 to 30 minutes after every 2.5 to 3 hours.
* Plan your studies, and set daily, weekly and monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.
*Revise at regular intervals as syllabus is wide

In clat when will have to provide ews certificate during the process of application filling or during counselling
Dear aspirant,
As of now all the entrance exam has been taking the EWS certificate scanned image during the filling of application form and they will also ask for your certificate during the verification of documents during the counselling.
Only during jee mains in 2020 we were not asked during the filling of application form but from the current year 2021 all the jee candidates are required to upload the EWS certificate during the filling of application form.
So,it's better to be on safer side.
