The Consortium of National Law Universities has published an important update on the Supreme Court order that stayed the Delhi HC judgement. On April 30, the SC while hearing the case of Siddhi Sandeep Ladda Vs Consortium of NLUs and another stayed the Delhi HC order that directed the Consortium to publish the CLAT 2025 revised result within four weeks. As per the Delhi HC judgement, the CLAT 2025 answer key for four questions in the CLAT UG have been revised. This revision is expected to cause an increase of up to 4 marks and decrease of up to 2.25 marks in the candidate’s final score.

Consortium’s Update on SC Order

The notification issued by the Consortium of NLUs states that the next SC hearing in the matter is scheduled on May 5, 2025. The consortium has also directed all the petitioners in the CLAT UG to make necessary arrangements for their representation before the Court.

CLAT 2025 SC Case Details

The SC stay order has been issued in response to a Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by Siddhi Sandeep Ladda. She secured AIR 22 in the result declared on December 7 after attempting Set A of the CLAT 2025 question paper.

The petitioner argues that the Delhi HC judgement puts candidates who attempted Set A at a disadvantage when compared to candidates who attempted Set B,C and D.
