MH CET Law 2019 - The State Common Entrance Test Cell has extended the last date to submit the application form for MH CET Law 2019 for three year LLB till March 25, 2019. The conducting body has also closed the process to submit the application form for MH CET Law 2019 for five year LLB programme till March 18, 2019. The conducting body had announced the application form for MH CET Law 2019 on January 28, 2019 for five year integrated LLB programme and on February 16, 2019 for three year LLB programme. DHE Maharashtra will conduct MH CET Law 2019 on April 21, 2019 for five-year integrated law programmes and for three year law programme, it will be conducted on May 11, 2019. The national-level law examination will be conducted in online mode. Candidates who wish to seek admissions into the undergraduate law programmes, need to appear in MH CET Law 2019 and qualify it as well. MAHA CET for undergraduate law programmes will be conducted in as many as 53 cities of different states offering seats into 22 participating institutes of MH CET Law.

MH CET Law 2019 aspirants applying to three-year LLB programmes will secure a seat for themselves from a total of 15040 seats across 218 colleges affiliated to 11 state universities. Moreover, candidates appearing in MH CET Law for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes will secure a seat amongst the 10060 seats on offer in 153 colleges of the state universities. As per the exam pattern, DHE Maharashtra administered examination will be conducted in online where candidates will be given two hours time with multiple choice questions to attempt. Moreover, candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer; no negative marking will be imposed on the candidates. MH CET Law 2019 - Admission Process 

Directorate of Higher Education Maharashtra has started its admission procedure with the issue of notification on December 21, 2018 followed by the release of the application form on January 28, 2019 for five-year integrated law programme. The application process for three year law programme has commenced from February 16, 2019. After the application process ends on March 18, 2019 for five-year integrated law programme and March 25, 2019 for the three year law programme, candidates can download the admit card on April 21, 2019 for five-year integrated law programme and by the last week of April 2019 for the three year law programme. After getting the access of the admit card, candidates can appear in the five year integrated law examination on April 21, 2019 and May 11, 2019 for three year law programme. Qualifying candidates of MH CET Law are then made available with the result for five year integrated law programme on May 13, 2019 and for three year law programme by the last week of June. The conducting body then conducts counselling from third week of June to first week of October and the classes begin in the month of November.

MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2019 

The conducting body of MH CET Law 2019, DHE Maharashtra has announced the eligibility criteria of MH CET Law 2019. Candidates appearing in MH CET Law 2019 are advised to read and understand the points mentioned in the MH CET Law 2019 Eligibility Criteria for the undergraduate law programmes as mentioned here -

  • As per the MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2019 for five-year integrated law programme, candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination/ 12th Board Examination from any recognised educational institution with a minimum of 45 per cent of the total marks in the aggregate of the subjects, which however is 5 % less for those belonging to SC/ST categories of Maharashtra state.

  • Candidates appearing in MH CET Law 2019 to seek admission into the three year law programme, need to have a graduation degree issued by any university or college recognised by UGC and following a 10+2+3 education pattern with at least 45 per cent in the aggregate of the subjects, and 40 per cent for those belonging to SC/ST categories of the Maharashtra state.

  • There is no age bar to appear in the law examination, MH CET Law 2019 for both five-year integrated and three year law programmes.

MH CET Law Application Form 2019 

DHE Maharashtra has announced the application form of MH CET Law 2019 on February 16, 2019 for the 3 year LLB programme. The applications for five-year integrated law programme was earlier released on January 28, 2019. MH CET Law 2019 Application Form is available in online mode. Candidates are required to first register themselves for MAHA CET LLB by following certain steps involving entering their name, date of birth, e-mail id and mobile number. After filling the required details, a validation link will be send to candidate’s email id enabling them to start filling the MH CET Law Application Form 2019. After successfully filling the application form of MH CET Law 2019, candidates will be required to remit the prescribed application fees via any of the convenient online payment options– Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking leading to successful submission of the MH CET Law 2019 Application Form by March 18, 2019 for five-year integrated law programme and March 25, 2019 for three year law programme.

MH CET Law Exam Centres 2019 

DHE Maharashtra has announced the exam centres of MH CET Law 2019. The law entrance examination will be conducted in as many as  53 cities of different states. After taking a glance at the MH CET Law 2019 Exam Centres, candidates need to choose any three centres as per their proximity and convenience. It should also be kept in mind that there will be no possibilities of changes to be made once the exam centre is being allocated. Therefore it is advised to the aspirants to choose the MH CET Law Exam Centres 2019 carefully. Rest of the details regarding the exam centres of MH CET Law 2019 will be inscribed on the back of the admit card of MH CET Law 2019. 

MH CET Law Admit Card 2019

Aspirants of MH CET Law 2019 can access their admit card of MH CET Law 2019 on April 10, 2019 for five-year integrated law programme and for three year law programme, the admit card will be released on April 22, 2019. DHE Maharashtra will announce the hall ticket in online mode. The hall ticket of the state level law entrance exam will  mention the candidature and examination details including roll number of the candidate, exam date and timings besides the address of the exam centre.

Candidates need to follow certain guidelines to successfully crack MH CET Law 2019. The guidelines are as follows -

MH CET Law Exam Pattern 2019

DHE Maharashtra has announced the exam pattern of MH CET Law 2019. With the help of MH CET Law 2019 Exam Pattern, candidates will get idea of the questions, topics, marking scheme, sequence and other important details of the question paper to be presented to the candidates. As the MH CET Law Exam Pattern 2019 mentions, candidates will be given 150 questions to attempt in 2 hours of time. The law examination will include questions from English, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Logical and Analytical Reasoning and Basic Mathematics. Candidates are advised to prepare as per the MH CET Law 2019 Exam Pattern for better preparation strategies and good marks. 

MH CET Law Syllabus 2019

MH CET Law Cutoff 2019 

The conducting body of MH CET Law, DHE Maharashtra will be calculating cut off for MH CET Law 2019 after the release of the merit list. The test takers who secure more marks than the specified cut off in the law entrance examination will be called to attend counselling for admissions into the undergraduate law programmes.

MH CET Law Seats and Reservation 2019

DHE Maharashtra will be offering reservation to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories including scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward class. Also, candidates should belong to the Maharashtra state, which means a candidate from any of these reserved categories but belonging to other state or Union Territory of India will not be able to avail the benefits and will be treated as General/ Open Category candidates. MH CET Law Counselling 2019

After the release of the cutoff, candidates who meet the cutoff will be the ones to be called for the counselling and seat allotment thereafter. The candidates will have to first register themselves through their login id for the counselling process. Once the candidates have registered for counselling, they will have to provide their choice options for the colleges after which a list will be issued declaring the name of candidates, who have to deposit the fees at the respective colleges after undergoing document verification process.

MH CET Law Seat Allotment 2019

As a part of the counselling procedure, seat allotment will be conducted by DHE Maharashtra. After the colleges upload the status of seats along with the admitted students’ list, the remaining candidates will be offered another chance to participate in the second round of counselling which will be followed up to six rounds.
