MH-CET-Law-DHE-MaharashtraMH CET Law 2018 - Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra conducted the entrance test for the three-year LLB programmes was held on June 17, 2018 for three year law programme. DHE conducts Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test for admissions to undergraduate law programmes on offer across the law colleges of the state. The common law entrance test, MH CET Law was held on April 22, 2018, from 11 a.m onwards.  Candidates applying for three-year LLB programmes through MH CET Law 2018 have the opportunity to secure a seat from a total of 15040 seats across 218 colleges affiliated to 11 state universities. Further, candidates appearing in MH CET Law for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes have the opportunity to secure a seat amongst the 10060 seats on offer in 153 colleges of the state universities. MH CET Law 2018 was conducted online where candidates were required to answer 150 questions of objective nature carrying one mark each in two hours. MH CET Law Important Dates 2018

DHE, Maharashtra State announced MH CET Law 2018 Important Dates in a notification for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for law programmes released in the month of January 2018. According to the important dates of MH CET Law 2018, the application form for MH CET Law 2018 begun for the five-year integrated law programme. The common state law entrance exam, MH CET Law 2018 for admissions to five-year and three-year law programmes was held on different dates. The MH CET Law for five-year integrated law programmes commenced on April 22, 2018, and that for three-year LLB programme the exam was held on June 17, 2018. The results of MH CET Law 2018 were out on May 7, 2018, for five-year integrated law programmes and on June 29, 2018 for the three-year LLB programmes, along with the publication of MH CET Law merit list and release of the score card. Afterwards, the DHE Maharashtra will organise MH CET Law 2018 counselling between June and August, even as the classes at respective law colleges are to begin in the same month.

MH CET Law Result 2018

Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra has announced MH CET Law 2018 result on May 7, 2018, for five-year integrated law programmes. The result for the three-year LLB programmes has been declared on June 29, 2018. The examination body has announced MH CET Law results for each of the law programmes– three-year and five-year integrated online only. Candidates can download their rank card along with checking MH CET Law 2018 results through the official link available. Candidates will have to provide their Common Entrance Exam Roll Number/ Registration Number to check the MH CET Law results.

MH CET Law Merit List (Rank List) 2018

DHE Maharashtra has published MH CET Law 2018 merit list on May 7 for 5-year integrated law programmes and for three-year LLB programmes on June 29, 2018. The Maharashtra State DHE announces separate rank lists of MH CET Law 2018 or merit list for each of the undergraduate law programmes- three-year and five-year integrated law programmes. Candidates will be called upon by their secured MH CET Law merit (rank) as per the list for the counselling and admission process. MH CET Law 2018 merit list will specify candidates’ name, roll number, scored marks and merit obtained for the applied law programme.

MH CET Law Cutoff 2018

The examination conducting body will be calculating cut off for MH CET Law 2018 admissions on October 6, 2018. The test takers who secure more marks than the specified MH CET Law 2018 cut off in the state level law entrance examination will be called upon to attend counselling for admissions into the undergraduate law programmes. The MH CET Law cut off is the minimum marks required to seek admissions in the law programmes offered at various state colleges of Maharashtra state.

MH CET Law Counselling and Seat Allotment 2018

DHE Maharashtra is holding counselling for MH CET Law 2018 from June 25, where the exam qualifying candidates will be called upon for Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The candidates will have to first register online through their login id for the MH CET Law 2018 counselling process. Once they have registered for online counselling of MH CET Law 2018, they will have to provide their choice options for the colleges after which a list will be issued declaring the name of candidates, who have to deposit the fees at the respective colleges after undergoing document verification process. After the colleges have uploaded the status of seats along with the admitted students’ list, the remaining candidates will be offered another chance to participate in the second round of MH CET Law counselling. In this way, as many as six rounds of counselling will be held for MH CET Law 2018. 

MH CET Law Participating Institutes 2018

Every state government law college is a participating institute of MH CET Law 2018, as per the official information of DHE Maharashtra. MH CET Law participating institutes are those institutions who accept the scores of the state level common entrance test for law programmes. Candidates can check the tables for the list of participating universities in MH CET Law 2018. MH CET Law Seats and Reservation 2018

DHE Maharashtra will be offering reservation benefits to candidates belonging to the reserved categories including Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class. However, they should belong to the Maharashtra state, which means a candidate from any of these reserved categories but belonging to other state or Union Territory of India will not be able to avail the benefits and will be treated as General/ Open Category candidates. The following percentage of seats will be reserved for each of these categories -

  1. OBC – 27 per cent of total seats

  2. SC – 15 per cent of total seats

  3. ST – 7.5 per cent of total seats

MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2018

The DHE Maharashtra State specifies MH CET Law 2018 eligibility criteria in the examination brochure. Candidates applying for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law programmes need to go through the eligibility criteria of MH CET Law which mentions academic qualification, minimum scores besides also provides information about the age criteria to appear for the undergraduate law programmes– 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated LLB. Candidates are advised to understand the MH CET Law eligibility criteria before applying for MH CET Law 2018 as if the applicant does not meet the eligibility of Maharashtra CET Law 2018 then the candidature may get cancelled at later stages even he/ she qualifies the state level law exam.

MH CET Law Application Form 2018

DHE Maharashtra has opened the window for MH CET Law 2018 application form on February 23 which can be filled online and submitted until March 30, 2018, as the dates were extended from March 26. Candidates are required to know application process of MH CET Law 2018 including online registration and fee payment. Before applying for MH CET Law 2018, candidates need to register online by providing various personal details including name, date of birth, e-mail id and mobile number. Once a candidate has registered for Common Entrance Test of Maharashtra State law programmes, he/ she can fill MH CET Law 2018 application form along with uploading photograph and signature. Candidates also need to pay an application fee of Rs. 800 (Rs. 400 for SC, ST and Reserved Categories of Maharashtra State) in online mode before submitting the MH CET Law application form 2018.

MH CET Law Exam Centres 2018

DHE Maharashtra has announced MH CET Law 2018 exam centres along with the examination notification. The law entrance examination was conducted in as many as  53 cities of different states. Candidates will be required to on June 1, choose at most three exam centres for MH CET Law 2018 while filling the application form. The examination conducting body will be then allotting an MH CET Law exam centre as per the choices preferred by the candidates and the availability of the MH CET Law exam centre 2018. No exam centre of MH CET Law 2018 can be changed once allotted by the examination authority. Candidates will be informed about their MH CET Law 2018 exam centres (test city) and their complete address through the MH CET Law admit card issued to them. Candidates are advised to reach their MH CET Law exam centres 2018 at least 30 minutes prior to the mentioned reporting time on the admit card on the date of examination. 

MH CET Law Admit Card 2018

Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra State has issued MH CET Law 2018 admit card on April 10, 2018, for those who are applying for five-year integrated law programmes and on May 31, 2018 for those who will appear for three-year LLB programmes. The admit card of MH CET Law 2018 can be downloaded through login account of Maharashtra State Law Exam. The MH CET Law admit card is considered as the hall ticket for appearing in the state level law entrance exam as it mentions candidature and examination details including roll number of the candidate, exam date and timings besides the address of the exam centre. Candidates are required to save a copy of MH CET Law admit card 2018 for future correspondence as no duplicate admit cards will be generated once the examination has been conducted.

MH CET Law Syllabus 2018

Candidates appearing for the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test law programmes are required to go through and understand syllabus of MH CET Law 2018. The law aspirants who are aware of MH CET Law 2018 syllabus can score well in the state-level law entrance examination as the MH CET Law syllabus provides an overview of the entrance examination. With the MH CET Law 2018 syllabus, candidates can analyse the important topics and leave irrelevant subject-matters.
