The 1st round of MH CET law seat allotment for 5-year LLB program was announced on August 16. The application form of MH CET Law 2019 is now closed. DHE Maharashtra conducted MH CET Law 2019 on April 21, 2019 for five-year integrated law programmes. MH CET Law 2019 aspirants applying to three-year LLB programmes will secure a seat for themselves from a total of 15040 seats across 218 colleges affiliated to 11 state universities. Moreover, candidates appearing in MH CET Law for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes will secure a seat amongst the 10060 seats on offer in 153 colleges of the state universities. As per the exam pattern, DHE Maharashtra administered examination will be conducted in online where candidates will be given two hours time with multiple choice questions to attempt. Moreover, candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer; no negative marking will be imposed on the candidates. MH CET Law 2019 - Admission Process
Directorate of Higher Education Maharashtra had started its admission procedure with the issue of notification on December 21, 2018, followed by the release of the application form on January 28 for five-year integrated law programme. The application process for three-year law programme had commenced from February 16, 2019. After the application process ended on March 18 for five-year integrated law programme and April 22 for the three-year law programme, candidates can download the admit card on April 21 for five-year integrated law programme and by the last week of April 2019 for the three-year law programme. After getting the access of the admit card, candidates could appear in the five year integrated law examination on April 21, 2019 and can appear on June 1 for the three-year law programme. Qualifying candidates of MH CET Law were then made available with the result for five-year integrated law programme on May 13 and for three-year law programme on June 17, 2019. The conducting body commenced counselling from June 7 to the first week of October and the classes begin in the month of November.

The conducting body of MH CET Law 2019, DHE Maharashtra has announced the eligibility criteria of MH CET Law 2019. Candidates appearing in MH CET Law 2019 are advised to read and understand the points mentioned in the MH CET Law 2019 Eligibility Criteria for the undergraduate law programmes as mentioned here -
As per the MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria 2019 for five-year integrated law programme, candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination/ 12th Board Examination from any recognised educational institution with a minimum of 45 per cent of the total marks in the aggregate of the subjects, which however is 5 % less for those belonging to SC/ST categories of Maharashtra state.
Candidates appearing in MH CET Law 2019 to seek admission into the three year law programme, need to have a graduation degree issued by any university or college recognised by UGC and following a 10+2+3 education pattern with at least 45 per cent in the aggregate of the subjects, and 40 per cent for those belonging to SC/ST categories of the Maharashtra state.
There is no age bar to appear in the law examination, MH CET Law 2019 for both five-year integrated and three year law programmes.
DHE Maharashtra had announced the application form of MH CET Law 2019 on February 16, 2019 for the 3 year LLB programme. The applications for five-year integrated law programme was earlier released on January 28, 2019. MH CET Law 2019 Application Form was available in online mode. Candidates were required to first register themselves for MAHA CET LLB by following certain steps involving entering their name, date of birth, e-mail id and mobile number. After filling the required details, a validation link was sent to candidate’s email id enabling them to start filling the MH CET Law Application Form 2019. After successfully filling the application form of MH CET Law 2019, candidates were required to remit the prescribed application fees via any of the convenient online payment options– Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking leading to successful submission of the MH CET Law 2019 Application Form by March 18, 2019 for five-year integrated law programme and April 22, 2019 for three year law programme.
DHE Maharashtra has announced the exam centres of MH CET Law 2019. The law entrance examination will be conducted in as many as 53 cities of different states. After taking a glance at the MH CET Law 2019 Exam Centres, candidates need to choose any three centres as per their proximity and convenience. It should also be kept in mind that there will be no possibilities of changes to be made once the exam centre is being allocated. Therefore it is advised to the aspirants to choose the MH CET Law Exam Centres 2019 carefully. Rest of the details regarding the exam centres of MH CET Law 2019 will be inscribed on the back of the admit card of MH CET Law 2019.

DHE Maharashtra has announced the exam pattern of MH CET Law 2019. With the help of MH CET Law 2019 Exam Pattern, candidates will get idea of the questions, topics, marking scheme, sequence and other important details of the question paper to be presented to the candidates. As the MH CET Law Exam Pattern 2019 mentions, candidates will be given 150 questions to attempt in 2 hours of time. DHE Maharashtra has released the revised final merit lists of MH CET Law 2019 for 3-year law program on September 9. The revised final merit lists of MH CET Law 2019 for 5-year integrated law program was released on August 15. The provisional (alphabetical) merit lists for 5-year integrated law program were released on July 31. The final merit lists for the five-year integrated law programme are released for Maharashtra State (MS), All India Candidature (OMS) and J&K categories. The provisional alphabetical merit lists for 3-year program will be released on August 16, and final list on August 26. Candidates whose name feature in the MH CET Law Merit List 2019 will further be called for the counselling procedure.
MH CET Law Cutoff 2019
The conducting body of MH CET Law, DHE Maharashtra will be calculating cut off for MH CET Law 2019 after the release of the merit list. The test takers who secure more marks than the specified cut off in the law entrance examination will be called to attend counselling for admissions into the undergraduate law programmes.
MH CET Law 2019 will witness participation of 10 state government law colleges for admission into the three-year law programme and 11 state government law colleges for five-year integrated law programme. DHE Maharashtra will be offering reservation to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories including scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward class. Also, candidates should belong to the Maharashtra state, which means a candidate from any of these reserved categories but belonging to other state or Union Territory of India will not be able to avail the benefits and will be treated as General/ Open Category candidates. After the release of the cutoff, candidates who meet the cutoff are called for the counselling and seat allotment. The candidates have to first register themselves through their login id for the counselling process. Once the candidates have registered for counselling, they will have to provide their choice options for the colleges after which a list will be issued declaring the name of candidates, who have to deposit the fees at the respective colleges after undergoing document verification process.
As a part of the counselling procedure, seat allotment is conducted by DHE Maharashtra. After the colleges upload the status of seats along with the admitted students’ list, the remaining candidates will be offered another chance to participate in the second round of counselling which will be followed up to six rounds.
