The Bar Council of India will issue the AIBE CoP to successful candidates by dispatching the certificate to the state bar council in which the candidate has enrolled.

What is AIBE?

A standard test for law graduates, AIBE is a certificate-based examination, conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI). BCI conducts the AIBE exam to test an advocate's ability to practice law in India. The AIBE exam tests the skills of law graduates at a fundamental level and sets the minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law. Law graduates who want to appear for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) must also complete enrolment with the state bar council. The AIBE exam is only open to candidates who have completed either a 5-year LLB or a 3-year LLB degree. AIBE is conducted in 40 cities across the country, in 11 different languages. Passing the bar examination or AIBE is mandatory for law graduates in India to represent clients in a court of law.

AIBE is conducted at the national level. The test is a mix of legal awareness and law. Therefore, candidates need to keep themselves updated with the current legal developments while also working on the fundamentals of law.

  • At this stage, you are more or less familiar with the AIBE exam pattern. But there is a twist in that books and textual material; bare acts are allowed through. So, the candidate now has to work for a plan where they are able to answer questions asked in the exam without having to consult a source. Questions related to AIBE

Have a question related to AIBE ?

Whether or not signing your full name instead of your signature on the AIBE 19 answer booklet's self-declaration form would result in disqualification is uncertain. It depends on the specific rules and regulations of the AIBE examination and how strictly they are enforced, you can also check the official website or contact the concerned authorities.

If you forgot to mention the booklet code in your AIBE 2024 exam form, it's important to address this promptly to ensure your exam is correctly evaluated. Here's what you can do:

  1. Contact the Examination Authority:

    • Official Website: Visit the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) official website

Hi,

If you forgot to mention your booklet set code in the AIBE 2024 exam but filled out all other details correctly, the situation could be problematic as the booklet set code is crucial for evaluating your answer sheet accurately. Here’s what might happen and what you can do:

  1. Possible Outcomes:

    • Manual Evaluation: If all other details are filled correctly, the examiners may try to identify your booklet set manually using your roll number and other information. This is not guaranteed but might happen in exceptional cases.
    • Invalid Answer Sheet: Unfortunately, if the booklet set code is missing, the answer sheet may be considered incomplete or invalid since the evaluation process relies on matching your answers to the correct question booklet.
  2. Immediate Action:

    • Contact AIBE Authorities: Reach out to the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) authorities as soon as possible. Explain your situation and provide all necessary details, such as your roll number, exam center, and other identifying information.
    • Helpline or Email: Use the official helpline or email ID provided by AIBE for grievances. The sooner you report the issue, the better the chances of resolution.
  3. Documents to Keep Ready:

    • A copy of your admit card.
    • Acknowledgment of exam attendance, if provided by the center.
    • Any other relevant documents, like your ID proof used during the exam.
  4. Future Precautions:

    • Always double-check all details before submitting the answer sheet.
    • Stay calm during exams to avoid such mistakes.

Contacting AIBE immediately is crucial, as they are the only ones who can address this specific issue.

All the best!

Hello,

Using a whitener (correction fluid) in only one question in the AIBE 19 exam is unlikely to lead to automatic rejection, provided that the rest of your answer sheet follows all the exam rules. Here are key points to consider:

  1. No Impact on Content : If the whitener is used only to correct a minor error without altering content or answers, it should not affect the evaluation.
  2. Rules : AIBE guidelines typically emphasize no use of any marking tools that could obscure answers.
  3. Assessment : As long as the answer is legible and adheres to guidelines, rejection is unlikely.

It’s always better to avoid using correction fluid in such exams.

Hi Anirudh,

Using a whitener in the AIBE 19 exam (All India Bar Examination) is generally not allowed, as per the examination guidelines. However, if you used it in just one question and the rest of your answer sheet complies with the rules, the likelihood of outright rejection may be lower, but it ultimately depends on the discretion of the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Wait for Official Notification, Check your result once it is released, If the BCI invalidates your paper, they will usually notify you.
