The Delhi HC delivered the CLAT PG 2025 judgment on June 6, 2025. During the CLAT PG hearing, three questions were under consideration. The Delhi HC has ordered the Consortium of NLUs to make changes in the CLAT PG final answer key. As per the judgment, two questions, 21 and 98, were changed, and question number 57 was rejected.
In addition, five other questions have been withdrawn by the consortium, as the consortium agreed to remove them of its own volition even before they were taken up by the court. This decision will also impact the CLAT PG 2025 results. With the revisions in the result, the candidate’s rank in the CLAT PG revised merit list will fluctuate.
In its judgment, the Delhi HC has revised the answers to two questions, while Question Number 56 and 4 other questions have been withdrawn for all candidates. The HC also rejected the candidate’s objection to one question in the CLAT PG verdict.
Question number | Initial Answer (Consortium) | Answer As Per Court Verdict |
21 | Option B | Option C |
57 | Option A | Option A |
98 | Option A | Option B |
Due to the modification in the CLAT PG final answer key as per the court, a few candidates may see an increase in the CLAT PG 2025 results by 1.25 marks per question, whereas others might see a decrease of -1.25 marks.
Candidates will receive +0.25 marks if they attempt a withdrawn question with an answer that has been marked incorrect as per the consortium answer key. Alternatively, those candidates who selected the correct answer as per the consortium will lose 1 mark. No changes will be made for candidates who did not attempt any of the withdrawn questions.
