Every NLU has a dedicated placement cell that carries out the recruitment process. The PG placements are carried out independently by the concerned NLUs. However, there is a simple placement process that has been described below:
Top recruiters visit the NLU campuses for pre-placement talks where they provide students with information about their organisation, job responsibilities, salary packages, etc.
Next, candidates who are interested in placement with the recruiting company can submit their curriculum vitae. The recruiters then evaluate the CVs submitted by the candidates.
Based on the CVs submitted by candidates, recruiters will then shortlist and screen candidates accordingly.
After the shortlisting and screening process, candidates will be called for interviews.
Candidates who will be shortlisted after the interviews will be made placement offers.
Those who are satisfied with the placement offers can complete the acceptance and joining formalities.
