Common Law Admission Test, commonly known as CLAT, is a national-level entrance exam. This exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs. The students can take admission in law institutes like the National Law Universities, among various private institutes. It is conducted only once every year. The CLAT entrance exam is conducted by the CLAT Consortium. The students who have completed their 12th class can apply for the exam. The qualification required to apply for the CLAT entrance exam is listed below.

The minimum percentage required in 10+2 exams to apply for the CLAT exam is 50%. But for the reserved category students, there is a relaxation of 5% which means that they require only 45% to apply for the entrance exam.
