The CLAT 2025 exam scheduled on December 1, will be held for 2 hours in the afternoon shift. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the detailed CLAT exam timings. Meanwhile, the CLAT 2025 answer key is expected to be released in the evening or a day after the exam.
The CLAT 2025 exam starts at 2 pm. However, candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall from 1.30 pm onwards. Candidates should notice the bells indicating different timings to keep up with the testing schedule.
A long bell at 2 pm means, the CLAT 2025 test begins and candidates are allowed to open the CLAT question paper.
At 2.15 pm, there will be a short bell, indicating the closing of test centre gates. One important thing that students should note is that if they report after 2 pm and till 2.15 pm, they will be allowed to appear in the test. However, no compensation for lost time will be given. After 2.15, there will be no entry. And gates will be closed.
A short bell at 3.50 pm means the last 10 minutes are left for the exam. At 4 pm, the CLAT OMR sheets will be collected by invigilators, meaning the test has been completed.

The following items are required on the CLAT exam day.
A valid ID card
An analogue watch
A black/blue ballpoint pen
A transparent water bottle
Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, or smartwatches. Those carrying such items inside the examination hall will be disqualified.
The answer key of CLAT 2025 will be released shortly after the completion of the test. The tentative CLAT answer key release date is December 1, evening. The NLU Consortium will release the answer key online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can use their answer key to calculate their marks and know their admission chances. 90-100 is considered a good score in CLAT exam.
The NLU Consortium will announce the CLAT result 2025 tentatively on December 5 or December 06. Candidates can download CLAT result using their login credentials - registration ID and Password.
