The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has released the MH CET 5-Year LLB 2026 counselling schedule on its official website. Candidates who have scored a non-zero score in the MH CET 5-year LLB 2026 exam must register themselves online before July 17, 2026. The CET Cell will e-verify the documents submitted during the CAP registrations on July 21, 2026. Based on this, the MH CET 5-year LLB 2026 alphabetical merit list will be published on July 22, 2026. Candidates can raise objections against the merit list till July 24, 2026. After verifying the grievances raised, CET Cell will release the MH CET 5-year LLB final merit list for counselling. There will be three rounds of counselling.

The MH CET 5-year LLB alphabetical merit list is a provisional merit list including the details of the shortlisted candidates for the counselling rounds. This list is created after verifying the documents uploaded during the MH CET Law CAP registrations. The CET Cell releases a round-wise alphabetical merit list of candidates. Candidates must carefully check their details and fulfill any incomplete requirements. Candidates whose names are mentioned in the alphabetical merit list are eligible for the counselling round.

Shortlisted candidates must fill out a list of preferred law colleges. Candidates must submit a preference list for Round 1 and 2. The MH CET 5-year LLB choice filling for Round 3 is conducted later. Candidates are advised to check the previous year’s MH CET 5-year LLB cut-off to prepare their preference list. It is important to complete the choice filling smartly to get a seat at a preferred law school in Maharashtra.
The MH CET 5-year LLB seat allotment is done based on the percentile obtained, category, and the list of preferred colleges submitted by the candidate. The CET Cell will release the MH CET Law merit list 2026 in online mode for each counselling round. Candidates who are allotted a seat based on their first preference must accept the seat and complete the admission process. They will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling. Candidates who are allotted a seat other than their first preference get an option to either freeze their seat or opt for betterment. Freezing a seat means accepting the seat, and opting for betterment means participating in the further MH CET 5-year LLB counselling rounds.
