The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 registration window closes soon. Candidates aspiring to secure admission to five-year integrated LL.B. and LL.M. programmes offered by India’s premier National Law Universities (NLUs) must submit their online applications before the deadline. The CLAT 2026 examination, conducted by the Consortium of NLUs, is scheduled for December 07, 2025.
The CLAT 2026 exam is the only gateway for admission to 25 NLUs and several other participating institutions across India. The registration window, which opened on August 1, 2025, will close sharply at 11:59 PM on October 31, 2025.
No extension in the registration timeline has been announced, so candidates are advised to avoid last-minute submissions. After registration ends, the Consortium is expected to release details regarding the application correction window and admit card release date in the coming weeks.
