    The Supreme Court issued an order to transfer all the pending cases in CLAT 2025 to the Delhi High Court on February 6, 2025. The next Delhi HC CLAT 2025 hearing is scheduled to be held on March 3, where it will hear all the petitions filed by various candidates against the Consortium of NLUs. The CLAT 2025 Supreme Court judgement was delivered for the petition filed by the consortium to avoid contradictory judgements by various High Courts.

    The SC has directed all the High Courts where CLAT 2025 cases are pending to transfer the judicial records to the Delhi HC within seven days of the order. In this article find out what are the pending cases of the Common Law Admission Test and the important judgements delivered so far.

    What was the opinion of the Supreme Court?

    In the earlier SC hearing conducted on January 15, in the Consortium of NLUs vs Aditya Singh case, the SC had indicated its intention to transfer all the CLAT 2025 cases to a single HC so disputes can be resolved faster and the final CLAT 2025 results can be released. It had passed the order as under.

    On December 20, 2024, a single bench of the Delhi HC had directed the Consortium to revise the answers to two questions in the CLAT 2025 answer key. In the CLAT 2025 Set A question paper, the answer to Q no. 14 was changed and Q.no 100 was withdrawn. Corresponding changes were made to questions in other sets of the question paper.

    On December 23, 2024, the Madhya Pradesh High Court ordered that the CLAT PG results 2025 and the final merit list prepared by the consortium based on the CLAT PG 2025 final answer key, would depend on the final disposal of the petition filed by the candidate.

    On December 24, 2024, the Division Bench of the Delhi HC upheld the earlier verdict passed by the single bench and directed the consortium to publish the revised results.

    On December 24, 2024 vacation bench of Justice SG Dige and Justice Advait M Sethna at the Bombay High Court said that any selection made by the Consortium of NLUs will be subject to the outcome of the present petition filed by the candidate.

    On January 15, 2025, the Supreme Court while hearing the cases of Aditya Singh and Aslesha Ajitsaria ordered that all the pending cases in CLAT 2025 will be transferred to a single HC for speedy resolution of the cases.

    On February 6, 2025, the SC bench comprising of Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justices Sanjay Kumar and K V Viswanathan transferred all the pending cases in CLAT 2025 to the Delhi HC.
