The Delhi HC has adjourned the CLAT 2025 result hearing to January 30 as the candidate now wants to approach the Supreme Court. As the CLAT 2025 court cases remain unresolved, candidates are increasingly uncertain about the final CLAT 2025 results. Can this turmoil around CLAT results affect the CLAT 2025 cut-offs in any way? Read on as we determine the likely impact of the CLAT 2025 Supreme Court cases on the CLAT cut-off 2025.
Despite the ongoing cases, the Delhi HC has allowed the Consortium of NLUs to proceed with the publication of the CLAT 2025 result as per the order passed by the single-judge bench of the HC on December 20. However, the consortium has decided to wait and kept everyone guessing about the result.
The five questions at the center of the controversy are Q no. 14, 37, 67, 68, and 100 from Set A. While the HC has accepted two objections raised by the candidate, namely on Q. 14 and 100 and ordered changes in the CLAT 2025 answer key, it has rejected the other three.
The tables below show how the CLAT 2025 score will be affected depending on the CLAT 2025 Supreme Court case outcome.

The revised CLAT 2025 results are not expected to influence the CLAT 2025 cut-off in any way. A good score in CLAT 2025 for top NLUs is primarily determined by the difficulty level of the exam and the NLU preferences given by candidates. So, irrespective of the changes in the scores of candidates due to the court order, the CLAT cut-offs are expected to follow the trends observed last year. The expected CLAT cut-off marks for the top 10 NLUs are given below.
