CLAT 2025 was conducted on December 1, 2024, in offline mode at centers across India. Candidates can gain admission into 5-year LLB and LLM programmes of participating NLUs through the Common Law Admission Test.
As per the CLAT marks vs rank analysis, candidates must score between 81 to 83 marks for CLAT rank 3500-4000. The table given below provides the corresponding marks for various ranks between 3000 and 4000 in CLAT. The data is based on the trends observed last year.

A rank of 3500 to 4000 is a good rank in CLAT for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as they can secure NLU admission at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Jodhpur. However, the CLAT general cut-off is high, and such candidates will not be able to secure NLU admission with CLAT ranks 3500 to 4000.

Other than NLUs, several other colleges accept CLAT scores. Candidates who have a valid score in CLAT can separately apply to these colleges. These law schools are also a good alternative for candidates who have low scores in CLAT but wish to pursue law.

Admission to BALLB courses can be either on 12th board marks or on national-level entrance exams depending on the college or university. Many top law colleges like NLUs except scores from the exam such as CLAT, AILET. But some universities like AMITY, JECRC consider merit from 12th board for admission

The best way to cover the important current affairs is to read the newspaper daily. Then try to analyse the newspaper and remember the trending topics. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is a national level entrance exam for the programs related to engineering. It has two levels known as JEE mains (first level) and JEE advance (second level) . NEET ( National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national level examination for admission in undergraduate medical courses. It is also conducted by NTA but in offline mode as in pen and paper test. It includes courses like MBBS, BDS BHMS , BAMS etc. The exam consists of 180 questions in total 45 from each physics , chemistry , zoology and Botany. The total marks for the exam are 720 marks.
