HPNET Exam Pattern 2018 – Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) has released the exam pattern of HPNET 2018 on January 22, 2018. Candidates appearing in HPNET 2018 are advised to read HPNET 2018 exam pattern. With an understanding of the HPNET exam pattern, they will know the modalities of the HPNLU Entrance Test. HPNET Exam Pattern 2018 will provide the candidates an overview of the exam including number of questions, total marks, subjects and duration of HP-NLET. The HPNLU aspirants with the help of exam pattern of HPNET 2018 can prepare for the law exam accordingly as they can know the marking scheme of HPNET 2018.

As per the HPNET Exam Pattern 2018, the candidates will be provided with the questions based on - General Awareness, Legal Awareness and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension for the candidates who wish to seek admission in undergraduate programmes. The candidates who will apply for LLM programme will have a different HPNET 2018 Exam Pattern that will include, Constitutional Law, Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Public International Law, Jurisprudence, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Right Law and an Essay on Contemporary Legal Problems.

HPNET 2018 Exam Pattern – Mode of Examination

HPNLU will be conducting HPNET 2018 in paper/pen mode.

HPNET Exam Pattern 2018 – Duration of exam

The law applicants will be provided 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours to complete the law examination.

HPNET 2018 Exam Pattern – Number of questions

The law applicants who wish to seek admission in undergraduate programme (BA/BBA LLB) will have to solve questions of 150 marks. The applicants who wish to seek admission in postgraduate LLM programme will be tested on 120 MCQs with an essay on Contemporary Legal Problems of 30 marks

HPNET Exam Pattern 2018 – Marking Scheme

The law applicants will be awarded one mark for each correct answers and will be deducted 0.25 marks for wrong answers.

The candidates will be tested on total 150 marks for both BA LLB/ BBA LLB and LLM programme.
