The Consortium of NLUs is expected to publish the CLAT 2025 revised result anytime soon. The CLAT 2025 SC hearing ended on May 7, 2025. The SC released the judgement copy on May 16. Following the court judgement, 5 answers have been revised in the CLAT 2025 final answer key. This revision will change the scores in the CLAT 2025 revised result. It will also have a bearing on the candidate’s chances of obtaining NLU admission in the CLAT 2025 counselling process. In this article, let’s look at whether the revised result will lead to any change in the NLU cut-offs.
A candidate’s score is likely to increase by up to 3.25 marks and decrease by up to 4.25 marks in the revised result after the SC judgement. This change in score will also cause a significant shift in the candidate’s rank in the CLAT 2025 merit list. Consequently, the revised result will have an impact on the candidate’s ability to clear the NLU cut-offs and their admission chances.
The likely shift in the CLAT rank of a candidate due to the revised result is given in the table below. Click on the links to get the details.

Premier NLUs such as NLSIU Bengaluru and NALSAR Hyderabad will continue to remain the candidate’s favorites as they often rank very high in the NLU preference list. It is expected that the cut-offs will be in line with trends seen in earlier years
