The Consortium of NLUs will release the CLAT 2025 answer key tentatively a day after the exam. The CLAT answer key 2025 would be published on the official website - consortium ofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium would first release the CLAT provisional answer key 2025. Candidates would then be given an opportunity to raise objections against the answer key. After considering all the objections, a revised CLAT 2025 answer key would be published based on which the CLAT result 2025 would be declared. It must be noted that the Consortium of NLUs would publish CLAT UG 2025 answer key and CLAT PG 2025 answer key separately.

The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the Common Law Admission Test on December 1, 2024 in offline mode. The answer key of CLAT 2025 released shortly after the exam would help candidates calculate their probable CLAT score. Through CLAT 2025, candidates would be able to gain admission into 5-year LLB and LLM programmes of participating NLUs.
Given below are the important dates for CLAT answer key 2025. The provisional answer key would be released a day after the exam. The consortium would then open an objection raising window, which would then be followed by the release of the final answer key of CLAT 2025.

Candidates should compare their answers with the answer key of CLAT 2025 and then refer to the marking scheme given in the CLAT 2025 exam pattern to calculate their scores. For every correct answer candidates are awarded 1 mark while, for every incorrect answer and every double marked answer, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks. There is no penalty for unanswered questions.
So, if a candidate attempted 100 questions, and 90 were correct while 10 were incorrect, then the candidate's CLAT score would be calculated as given in the table below.

After publishing the provisional answer key of CLAT 2025, candidates would be given an opportunity to raise objections within the specified deadline. Candidates would be allowed to submit objections in online mode through their CLAT candidate login after paying the objection raising fee.
Candidates have to pay an objection raising fee of Rs 1000 per objection. The fees will be refunded to the candidate if the objection is found to be valid. If the objections against the CLAT 2025 answer key are submitted by any other means, they will not be accepted. After considering the objections, the Consortium of NLUs will publish the CLAT 2025 final answer key.
