The Bar Council of India (BCI) has extended the online registration deadline for the All India Bar Examination XX (AIBE 2025) to October 31, 2025. Law graduates and practitioners now have extra time to complete their applications for this crucial national-level exam.
The AIBE 2025 notification was initially issued on September 26, 2025, detailing the schedule for registration, correction window, and examination dates. The exam, which is mandatory for law graduates to obtain their Certificate of Practice (CoP), will be conducted on November 30, 2025, in offline mode.
As per the latest update, candidates can now register online for AIBE XX 2025 until October 31, 2025, marking a 3-day extension from the earlier deadline. The payment window and correction window have also been extended till November 1, 2025. According to officials, the extension was made considering the large number of aspirants and the technical issues encountered on the registration portal.

Candidates are required to upload the following documents as part of their AIBE 20 application:
After the registration window closes, candidates will have the opportunity to edit or correct application details until November 01, 2025, extended by one day. The AIBE 20 admit card will be available for download from November 15, 2025, on the official website.
Applicants are advised to verify all details carefully, including name, enrolment number, and exam centre, and report any discrepancies to BCI immediately.
Mode: Offline mode (OMR-based)
Passing marks: 45% for General/OBC; 40% for SC/ST and PwD candidates
Exam duration: 3 hours 30 minutes
The question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering subjects prescribed under the Bar Council of India syllabus. Candidates must carry their admit card and photo ID on exam day.
